I've tried to return to the Warframe window multiple ways, with ALT-TAB, via the windows taskbar and via the control panel forcing the window to the foreground. Somehow this behavior is applied constantly when certain other games are running in the background, why? I don't know. This behavior is normally associated with being on the menu screen(ESC) which frees up the mouse and enables you to move the mouse off the game while in border-less mode on a multi-monitor setup. More games built on Unreal Engine3 can be found here, in case you want a title to test it with: īack to warframe! The mouse focus on the game window was lost when the other game(KF2) booted up and ALT-TAB was used, in Warframe I could still move my character, but as soon as the mouse went too far it ended up on my other screen. Launching a game that's normal full-screen mode will pull focus towards it, off warframe, applying the focus loss bug when returning to it. Mad Max - No focus lossĭark Souls 3 - No focus lossĪfter these tests I can conclude that this bug does not limit itself to a particular engine.(it's never simple is it) Killing floor 2[Unreal Engine 3 - Focus loss Noteworthy is that Killing floor 2 is built on the Unreal Engine 3 and I've taken the liberty of testing another Unreal Engine 3 game and a few random ones on different engines while Warframe was running. Warframe behaved normally, until I ALT-TABbed once and then returned to the game.Īfter that the mouse would not focus on the Warframe game window and would drift off to my other screen when moving my mouse towards it. I launched another game, Killing floor 2 in this case, in the background while in mission.
